A Juz A Day (30th): A Third of the Qur’an

This last juz has 37 surahs of the Qur’an (almost a third of the surahs). These are short, rhythmic, impactful and easily retainable surahs.
This juz has the first revelation Al-Alaq (96) and the last complete Surah Al-Nasr (110).

The major themes of the 30th Juz
1) Belief in the oneness of Allah
2) The Prophet’s job is to deliver the message
3) Belief in the unseen
4) Believing = good deeds of all types
5) Humans are fickle and ungrateful

This juz has Surahs of extreme virtues:
– Al-Zilzaal is like ¼ of the Qur’an
– Al-Nasr is like a ¼ of the Qur’an
– Al-Kafiroon is like a ¼ of the Qur’an
– Al-Ikhlaas is like 1/3 of the Qur’an
– Al-Falaq and Al-Naas are for seeking protection from evil and for ruqya
– Al-Ikhlaas, Al-Falaq and Al-Naas are to be recited after every prayer, three times after Fajr and Asr and before sleeping
