– Easa
Consequences of injustice = loss of blessings
– But not all were bad people!
The Prophets of Allah were warners and bringers of good news
Extremism is injustice
Ends with ruling of inheritance
Surah Maidah â Fulfilling Our Commitments
Begins with âOh you who have believedâ and repeats 16 times out of 89 in total
Fulfilling contracts is part of faith
Some contracts that are binding on us as part of our faith
– Sanctity of the kabah and rituals of Hajj
– What we eat
– Who we can marry and build families with
– Wudu and purification and everything above it
– Standing up for justice
Remember what a great favor and blessing this contract is
Bani Israel and Christians not living up to their contract
The Prophet [SAWS] is sent to Jews and Christians as well
The delusion of the âChosen nationâ
Consoling the Prophet (âdonât be sadâ¦â)
All divine laws were sent to be implemented (part of the promise)
The Shariah is our divine set of laws, we have a distinct identity from others
