Sheikh Aarij Anwer is a specialist in Zakat, Arabic and linguistic tafsir. Born in Karachi and raised in Toronto, he serves as the Muslim Chaplain at Western University. He’s also a Zakat consultant with National Zakat Foundation and Zakat manager at LaunchGood.
In the past, he’s served as imam/educator at London Muslim Mosque and Masjid Khalid Bin Al-Walid. He authored a K-8 Arabic curriculum for Bayyinah Institute. He founded Qutoof Academy for advanced Arabic studies.
Sheikh Aarij Anwer has completed bachelor degrees in Computer Science (Waterloo), Education (Toronto) and Fiqh (Al-Madinah International University). He currently resides in London ON with his wife and 4 daughters.
