Riyadul Haqq

Riyadul Haqq is a distinguished Islamic scholar renowned for his deep knowledge and impactful contributions to Islamic education. Born in Gujarat, India, in 1971, he moved to the UK at the age of three to join his father, Moulana Muhammad Gora, who was serving as an Imam and religious leader in Leicester, UK.

From a young age, Riyadul Haqq demonstrated exceptional dedication to Islamic studies. By the age of ten, he had memorized the entire Qur’an and completed several books on various Islamic topics. His formal Islamic education began at Darul Uloom al Arabiyyah al Islamiyyah in Bury, UK, the first and most prestigious Muslim seminary in the West. There, he undertook an intensive study of Arabic, Qur’anic tafseer, hadith, and fiqh under the guidance of eminent scholars such as Shaykh Yusuf Motala and the late Shaykh Islamul Haq. He also holds ijazah in hadith from the late Mufti Mahmood Hasan Gangohi and Shaykh Yunus of Saharanpur, India.

Riyadul Haqq’s dedication to Islamic education continued through his role as the honorary principal of Madinatul Uloom al Islamiyyah, Kidderminster, UK, from 1992 until 2003. His contributions extend beyond teaching; he has lectured extensively on Qur’anic tafseer, hadith, aqeedah, and fiqh across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and North America. His lectures and sermons are widely recorded and available, reflecting his ability to convey complex Islamic teachings in an accessible and inspiring manner.

In addition to his lectures, Riyadul Haqq has authored two significant books: “The Salah of a Believer in the Qur’an and Sunnah” and “The Causes of Disunity.” These works reflect his extensive knowledge and commitment to clarifying and disseminating Islamic teachings.
