Taimiyyah Zubair – Taleem al-Quran 2010 – Juz 02

Juz 2 in its entirety, comprises of Surah Baqarah alone. It begins with verses of the changing of the direction of the prayer to the Ka’bah. This Juz contains the beautiful verse which emphasizes the importance of righteousness being much superior to matters like the direction of the prayer. Further into the Surah, Allah mentions several significant issues such as inheritance, Hajj, marriage, with the major focus being on fasting. This Juz ends with the story of Jalut, with complete emphasis on the victory of faith.
